La holding nasce nel 2011, in seguito alla liberalizzazione del mercato elettrico (decreto Bersani) e del metano (decreto Letta), con lo scopo di sviluppare progetti nel settore gas naturale, energia elettrica e fonti rinnovabili. Il primo progetto è Romagas srl – ora ROMA GAS & POWER spa, che dal 2005 ad oggi rappresenta una delle più importanti realtà del panorama energetico italiano (tra i primi 5 trader privati italiani).

Patented worldwide; these technologies were awarded in Italy by Legambiente – Confindustria – Bocconi University – Politecnico of Milan and the Lombardy Region with the “Friend of the Environment Innovation Award 2010”
